hero worship
I'm at my parent's house. I don't have a car. It's pretty cold out. I have a cold.
Been watching a lot of movies - I was surprised to see Beautiful Losers was available on demand.
I rented it, and have watched it twice already.
I didn't realize that all my art heros, you know, worked together and have done so for a while.
It's really interesting to hear them talk about their work and reflect on their experiences. I think I just like them more now.
It's weird having grown up in the 90s, when this work was happening and having that relate to my thought process now as a young artist. It's like a strange limbo of relating and wonderment, if that makes any sense.
I guess all of that was really vague, but I'm having a hard time relating what I'm thinking to what I'm saying but it's exciting you know? I really didn't know that ESPO was Steve Powers. Mind Blowing, you know?

I'm really digging these book covers, particularly the one for Stern Men.
at my parent's house
I finally synced my phone with my computer.
This photo is from fall break, I think it's really beautiful.
I'm doing everything to avoid writing the last page of this film theory paper, at least procrastination lead to finishing my experimental type final.

JEWELRY LINE DROPPED TODAY!

possible cover of the lookbook?
Silver Balsa wood pendant on three feet of sterling silver chain. I worked so hard on the current packaging, but I think I'm going to revise the branding some before I shop them around to other vendors. I'm still pretty excited about how the look right now.

tuesday oh tuesday
Somebody stole my Caran d'Ache Neocolor crayons from the dolphin building. I couldn't see that I accidently left them on top of the lockers, because I just wasn't tall enough. If you have them, please give them back to me, or if you don't want to embarrass yourself by looking me in the eye, leave them back on the top of the locker, respectively.
These crayons are one of my favorite things to work with. I'm doing a tryptic of monoprints on balsa with them for my screen printing final. I'm pleased with the direction they're going in. I'm also using a scan of one of my monoprints from a separate series for my Flash (graphic design 3) final.

^that's my print that i'm working with, it's a second pull so there are a few funny streaks in the base
Taking a quick break before working on some photoimaging roughs, I'm making a look book for my jewelry line for the final.
I have a weird crush on beardo Joaquin Phoenix.
What would his character in "Signs" be like, with a beard? Could he Walk the Line, with a beard?

It's tuesday. I'm running on four hours of sleep. I'm tired.
FINALLY FINALS AH!

riding the proverbial wave, bro
Hello Hello! It's been a while since my last post, but really, I've been really busy.
Finals are vastly approaching, and I'm feeling pretty good about it.
During winter break I'll you know, start updating regularly again, or at least intend to.
I almost got stranded in Towson this afternoon, all I wanted was to go to Trader Joes! More reasons to dislike the bus.
Luckily Julia saved me and the ladies, she's da besss.

On the horizon :
Ellen Lupton game show event tomorrow afternoon
My jewelry line launches Wednesday, there will be a website/lookbook in the future as well.
Now I have to go write a short paper on one of my favorite movies of all time, The Endless Summer.
